Week 8 games and lines
Whole-number spreads carry a half point to the underdog, as printed, so no game pushes. Spreads and totals are BettorEdge community odds as of Thu, Oct 22, 11:00 AM ET, refreshed every morning and locked at each game's kickoff. Once the sheet is unlocked you can set your own lines before printing. "Pending" means the market had no clean line when the sheet was made.

How to run a confidence pool
Pick, then rank
Everyone picks the winner of every game, then numbers their picks from 20 for the surest down to 1. No number twice.
Scoring
A correct pick earns the points it was given. A wrong pick earns nothing. The highest total wins the week, so one confident miss can cost a lot.
The tiebreaker
The last game of the week decides ties. Everyone guesses its total points, and the closest guess wins.
Grading
After the games, add up the points on every correct pick. The pick'em sheet's week page has a free answer key with every winner checked. Or run the pool on BettorEdge and let the leaderboard do it.
Skip the clipboard. Run the pool online.
Paper sheets get lost, and somebody has to grade them on Tuesday. On BettorEdge you start a pick'em contest, share an invite code with your group, and everyone watches the same leaderboard update as games finish.
Every College Football week, 2026
Past weeks keep the spreads they were picked against, with the results. Future weeks go up with the schedule; spreads follow about a week before kickoff.
College Football confidence pool FAQ
How does a confidence pool work?
Each player picks the winner of every game, then ranks those picks by how sure they are. With 14 games, the surest pick gets 14 points and the shakiest gets 1, and no number is used twice. A correct pick scores the points you gave it, and the highest total wins the week.
Is a confidence pool picked straight up or against the spread?
Most are straight up, which is what this sheet prints. If your group wants spreads too, the regular pick'em sheet has a spread on every game and a points column you can use the same way.
How are ties broken?
The sheet has a tiebreaker on the last game of the week: everyone guesses its total points, and the closest guess wins.
What if someone misses the Thursday game?
Collect sheets before the first kickoff of the week. If a sheet comes in late, the usual rule is that games already started score zero, and the points assigned to them are lost.
When is the new College Football confidence sheet posted?
With the pick'em sheet: Sunday morning, as soon as the week's schedule is set. Past weeks' results and answer keys are on the pick'em sheet's week pages.
Can I run a confidence pool online instead?
Yes. BettorEdge pick'em contests let your group join with an invite code and follow one leaderboard, so nobody has to add up confidence points by hand.
