  • New offensive coordinator in Lanear Simpson (San Diego State WR Coach & Pass Game Coordinator) and defensive coordinator in Kyle Beyer (S/LB coach)
  • No offensive starters from last season return
  • Incarnate Word transfer EJ Colson is expected to start at QB (2,142 yards, 16 TDs, 4 INTs)
  • Buffalo transfer Lamar Sperling is expected to start at RB (234 yards. 1 TD)
  • Expected starters at WR include returner Jaylan Brown (103 yards, 0 TDs), Northern Colorado transfer Carver Cheeks (929 yards, 6 TDs), and Oklahoma State transfer Royal Capell (47 yards, 0 TDs)
  • Returning four starters on defense, with their top returner being LB Jaden Wilson (92 tackles)
