How the Round Robin Calculator works
What is a round robin bet?
A round robin breaks a group of picks into all the smaller parlays of a chosen size. Pick four teams and round-robin them by twos and you get all six two-team parlays, each staked separately. A single loss knocks out only the parlays that included it, instead of busting the whole ticket the way a four-team parlay would.
How the stake adds up
Your stake is per parlay, so the total is that stake times the number of combinations. Four picks by twos is six parlays, so a $10 stake risks $60. Add more picks or more sizes and the bet count climbs fast, which is why the calculator shows the total stake before you commit.
How to calculate a round robin payout
The maximum payout assumes every pick wins, and it sums the return of every parlay in the ticket. Because each combo pays like a parlay, the upside is large, but so is the stake. The value of a round robin is not the ceiling, it is that partial results still cash the combos that survived. Three -110 picks by 2's at $10 each risks $30; if one pick loses, the one surviving parlay returns $36.45.
By 2's, by 3's, or all combinations
"By 2's" means every two-team parlay from your picks, "by 3's" every three-team parlay, and so on. Selecting every size from 2's up to the full parlay covers all combinations, which gets expensive fast: six picks by 2's is 15 bets, but every size from 2's to 6's is 57. The combinations chart below has the counts for 3 to 8 picks.
Round robins vs one big parlay
A single big parlay pays more if it hits but dies on the first loss. A round robin trades that ceiling for durability: it costs more up front and pays less at the top, but one bad leg no longer zeroes the whole ticket. Which is better depends on how confident you are in every leg.
