How a round robin is built

Pick four teams and ask for two-team parlays, and you get all six possible pairings as separate bets. You are not betting one four-leg parlay; you are betting six two-leg parlays, each staked separately, so the total outlay is six times your unit.

What it actually buys you

A round robin softens the all-or-nothing nature of a parlay: one loss does not wipe out the whole ticket, only the combinations containing it. What it does not do is remove the compounded margin. You still pay juice on every combination, so a round robin of bad bets is simply a slower way to lose.

Frequently asked questions

What is a round robin bet?+

A round robin turns a list of picks into every possible smaller parlay combination, each bet separately. Four teams in two-team parlays produces six individual bets.

Is a round robin better than a parlay?+

It is less volatile, because one losing leg does not kill everything. But it costs more up front and still carries margin on every combination, so it does not improve a bad set of picks.
