The best Telegram sports betting bot for most US bettors is one that shows real odds for the games you care about, works in your group chat, and never asks for a crypto deposit. Most of what ranks for "Telegram betting bot" is either a soccer tipster, an odds tool built for European bookmakers, or an offshore crypto casino running inside Telegram. Here is how the main types compare, what each is good for, and the red flags to skip.
Quick answer: the best Telegram sports betting bots
- Best free odds bot for NFL, college football and US leagues: @BettorEdgeBot. Live moneyline, spread, total and player lines for any team, player or game, one-tap picks under every card, and a group leaderboard. Free, no account needed.
- Best for odds comparison and closing-line tracking: OddsNotifier AI Bot. A free bot for checking closing lines, comparing bookmaker prices, spotting dropping odds and logging bets. Built around European and international bookmakers.
- Best for soccer data and AI tips: ChatGPT Betting Bot (@ChatGPTBettingBot). A football (soccer) bot from FootyAmigo that combines match data with AI.
- Tip and alert bots, such as bet!alert (@betalertiobot). Push tips and alerts into Telegram. Judge them on a verifiable track record, not screenshots.
- Skip: crypto casino bots. Bots that take crypto deposits and wagers inside Telegram operate offshore and are not licensed by US state regulators.
What a good Telegram betting bot should do
Telegram bots are chat accounts that answer commands. The useful ones for bettors do three things well:
- Answer fast with real prices. You type a team, you get the current line, not a tip someone wrote this morning.
- Work in a group. Sports talk happens in group chats. A bot that posts a card everyone can see, and lets everyone weigh in, gets used. One that only works in a private chat gets forgotten.
- Stay out of your chat. Telegram bots run in privacy mode by default, so they only see commands sent to them. Be wary of any bot that asks to be a group admin with full message access for no clear reason.

@BettorEdgeBot: free odds and picks for your group chat
@BettorEdgeBot is the Telegram bot from BettorEdge, the social sports betting marketplace. It covers every league with open markets on BettorEdge, including the NFL, college football, NBA, MLB, NHL and UFC.
- /odds chiefs posts the moneyline, spread, total and top player lines for that team's next game. A clear match goes straight to the card; anything closer gets a quick list to tap.
- /odds on its own lists the next games with open lines.
- Reply to a message with /odds and the bot finds the team being talked about.
- @BettorEdgeBot chiefs typed in any chat, even one without the bot, lets you send the odds card there.
- I'm on buttons under every card turn it into a group pick'em: one tap is a pick, picks lock at kickoff, and the bot replies with how the chat did after the final. /mypicks shows your record and /leaderboard ranks the group.
It is free and needs no account. When you want to trade on a game, the See it on BettorEdge button opens that game on BettorEdge, where you bet against other people instead of the house.
OddsNotifier AI Bot: odds comparison and CLV
OddsNotifier offers a free AI bot on Telegram for checking closing lines, comparing odds across bookmakers, watching dropping odds and tracking bets and ROI. It is a strong tool if you shop prices across many bookmakers, and its bookmaker coverage leans international. It is a personal research tool more than a group-chat bot.
ChatGPT Betting Bot: soccer data with AI
@ChatGPTBettingBot, from FootyAmigo, describes itself as a football betting bot powered by data and ChatGPT. If you bet soccer leagues and want AI-assisted angles, it is worth a look. It does not cover US sports like the NFL.
Tip and alert bots
Bots such as bet!alert push tips, odds moves and alerts into Telegram. Some are useful; many are funnels for paid tipster subscriptions. Before you follow any tips bot, look for a public, timestamped record of every pick, not a highlight reel of winners.
Red flags: crypto casinos and fake tipsters
- Crypto deposits inside Telegram. Bots that hold your crypto and take wagers in chat run offshore, outside US state licensing. If something goes wrong, there is no regulator to go to.
- "Guaranteed" or "fixed" matches. Nobody sells guaranteed winners. That is a scam, every time.
- Paid VIP upgrades with no record. If a tipster won't show every pick with a date on it, assume the record isn't good.
- Admin requests for no reason. An odds bot doesn't need to read your group's messages.
How to add a betting bot to a Telegram group
- Open the bot, for example @BettorEdgeBot, and tap its name at the top.
- Choose Add to Group and pick your chat.
- Send a command in the group, like /odds chiefs. Everyone in the group can use it.
