- Starting RB from last season is gone. Illinois State transfer Mason King (36 yards, 0 TDs) and Cincinnati transfer Jakorion Caffey (2 yards, 0 TDs) are expected to split carries
- Top two players in terms of receiving yards are gone, with the top returner being Wayne Harris (383 yards, 1 TD)
- Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 27 sacks in 2025 (T-87th in CFB)
- Returning two starters on defense, with the top returner being Joel Cordoba (68 tackles). Four transfers are expected to start
