How to Fix BettorEdge Location Not Working
BettorEdge has to confirm you're in a state where it's available before you can bet. Here's how to turn on location for the iPhone app, the Android app and your browser, and what to do if it still won't verify.
Before you start
- •BettorEdge checks your location because state rules decide where real-money play is allowed. It uses your device's location and IP address, and may re-check during a session.
- •Browsing markets doesn't need your location. Betting does.
Prerequisites
- •Your phone's or computer's settings (no BettorEdge account changes needed).

iPhone app: allow location and precise location
Open Settings, scroll down and tap BettorEdge, then tap Location and choose While Using the App. Make sure Precise Location is on. Also check Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services is on.

Android app: allow location
Open Settings > Apps > BettorEdge > Permissions > Location. Choose Allow only while using the app and turn on Use precise location.

Browser on a computer: allow the site
In Chrome or Edge, click the icon to the left of the address on play.bettoredge.com, open Site settings (Site permissions in Edge) and set Location to Allow. On a Mac, also check System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services is on for your browser.

Safari on iPhone: allow the site
On play.bettoredge.com, tap the aA icon in the address bar, choose Website Settings and set Location to Allow. You can also go to Settings > Safari > Location.

Reload and try again
Close and reopen the app, or reload the page, and allow location when BettorEdge asks. If it still won't verify, turn off any VPN, connect to Wi-Fi and, if you're near a state border, move further in.
Tips
- •Turn off any VPN. VPNs change your IP address and will fail the check.
- •On Wi-Fi, location is usually more accurate than on cellular alone.
- •Near a state line? Move further into a state where BettorEdge is available and try again.
