How to Get Started on BettorEdge
Create a BettorEdge account with just your phone number, check that you can play where you live, and get from sign-up to your first trade against other people, not the house.

Open BettorEdge and choose Create account
Go to play.bettoredge.com (or open the app) and click Create account. You can look around the markets first: every price on the board is another player on the other side.

Enter your phone number and the code we text you
Type your mobile number and tap Send code. BettorEdge texts you a code to sign in, so there's no password to remember. If a friend gave you a referral code, tap Have a referral code? before you continue.

Allow your location
Real-money trading is only available in some states, so BettorEdge checks where you are before you trade, deposit or withdraw. When the app asks to confirm your location, allow it. Turn off any VPN, which can get in the way.

Verify your identity to unlock real money
Before you deposit, play real-money contests or withdraw, verify your ID. Your name and date of birth must match your ID. When it's done, Account → Profile & identity shows Verified: deposits and payouts are open.

Make your first trade, or practice with Edge Coins
Deposit to trade with cash, or switch to Edge Coins to learn with play money. Then open any game, tap a price, and either take it or name your own.
Tips
- •Edge Coins are play money for play-money contests. They need no verification or location, so they're a good way to learn the app first.
