Arsenal's 2025/26 season has reached a critical juncture. Just a few short weeks ago, the club was on the brink of an unprecedented quadruple: winning all four competitions on offer to them this term. Now, however, Mikel Arteta's men have been plunged into crisis.

The slide began in the recent League Cup final at Wembley. The Gunners met their nearest rivals, Manchester City, in the League Cup final and were heavy favorites to defeat Pep Guardiola's men to claim the first of a potential four trophies on offer. Then, Arsenal suddenly turned toothless in attack, losing 2-0 after a quickfire second-half double salvo from Blues defender Nico O'Reilly. Since then, things have gone from bad to worse.

An FA cup quarter-final tie away at second-tier Southampton should have provided the perfect opportunity for Arteta's side to get back to winning ways. Instead, they were shockingly beaten once again, with Shea Charles' late winner sending the Saints to the semifinals and turning Arsenal's hopes of a quadruple into now a double at best.

So, how can one navigate the treacherous waters of Arsenal's remaining games this season?

Bide Your Time with Premier League Outright Bets

Despite Arsenal's back-to-back domestic cup defeats, the club remains nine points clear at the summit of the Premier League with just seven games remaining. As such, online betting sites think that them somehow not winning the title from here could be one of the biggest collapses of all time. The latest online sports betting at Bovada odds make the Gunners a 1/5 favorite to win their first title in 22 years at the end of the season. But anyone thinking of backing the current table-toppers at those tiny odds ought to err on the side of caution.

Second-placed Manchester City still have a game in hand on Arsenal, and if they win that, the lead at the summit will be cut to just six points. Then, the two sides are poised to meet in a clash on City's home turf at the Etihad at the end of April. If Guardiola's men win that, then the points deficit between the two title protagonists will be just three points and, suddenly, odds on an Arsenal title victory will lengthen, perhaps even approaching even money.

The advice is simple: if you think Arsenal will win the title, bide your time and wait for better odds, which will almost certainly appear in the coming weeks.

Champions League Struggles

While Arsenal has waited 22 long years to win the Premier League, the North London club hasn't once won the Champions League in the club's entire history. They did reach the final back in 2006, losing 2-1 to a Ronaldinho-powered Barcelona despite taking a first-half lead through Sol Campbell. Last season, they came within a whisker of returning to European football's showpiece game, only to lose in the semifinals to eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners have somewhat of a favorable route to this season's final, should they make it that far. They face Portuguese champions Sporting CP in the quarterfinals in a contest they are considered 1/5 favorites to progress from. They will likely do exactly that, but it won't be as easy as the bookmakers are currently making out.

Arsenal's recent plight is a genuine cause for concern. As well as that, Sporting are currently on fire, winning each of their last three games on the bounce, scoring 13 goals in the process. While backing them to progress could well be too big a hurdle to cross, betting on them with a goal handicap as well as backing them to score in both legs could yield good results.

Should Arteta's men make it through that clash, they will face either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid in a potential semifinal. The Gunners will almost certainly be praying that it's Diego Simeone's Rojiblancos they face in the final four, but the Gunners should be careful what they wish for. Atleti have been in scintillating form in cup competitions this term, especially on home turf. They beat Barcelona 4-0 at the Metropolitano in the recent Copa Del Rey semifinals, while they also thumped rivals Real Madrid 5-2 in La Liga earlier in the campaign.

Regardless of who emerges from that all-Spanish clash, betting on Arsenal to lose their semifinal could yield impressive winnings, especially considering the fact that the Gunners are an odds-on 10/11 favorite to reach the final.

Narrow Home Wins

Four of Arsenal's seven remaining Premier League games will all take place on home turf against perceived weaker opposition. However, if recent performances are anything to go by, Arteta's men could make hard work of those clashes as the pressure from a nervous Emirates Stadium faithful begins to take its toll. Betting on them to win their home games by exactly one goal would likely see punters secure odds upwards of even money, far better than the odds-on price they will get just backing Arsenal to win.

With nerves jangling all around North London, now could well be the time to cash in on a goal-shy Arsenal side that continuously ekes out 1-0 wins.
