  • New offensive coordinator in Clint Trickett (Jacksonville State Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach)
  • Malik Washington returns at QB after a freshman season of 2,963 yards, 17 TDs, and 9 INTs, as well as 303 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs
  • DeJuan Williams returns after a freshman season of 501 yards and 3 TDs
  • Top three players in terms of receiving yards are gone with the top returner being TE Dorian Fleming (351 yards, 3 TDs). Two transfers are expected to start at WR in Old Dominion transfer Na’eem Abdul-Raheem Gladding (667 yards, 6 TDs) and Wyoming transfer Chris Durr Jr. (469 yards, 4 TDs)
  • Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 9 sacks in 2025 (T-3rd in CFB)
  • 2025 PPG/YPG: 21.6 ppg (102nd out of 136), 355.1 ypg (87th out of 136)
  • Returning eight starters on a defense that allowed 27.4 ppg (75th in CFB), including their leading tackler in LB Daniel Wingate (102 tackles)
