How to Challenge a Friend Head-to-Head on BettorEdge
Send a bet straight to one friend instead of the open market. Pick the side, name your price, choose who gets it, and only they can take it.
Before you start
- •You both need a BettorEdge account, and you need to be signed in to send a challenge.
- •A head-to-head is a price aimed at one player instead of the book. Only they can take it, and only before it expires.
- •Head-to-heads are private between the two players in them.
Prerequisites
- •A BettorEdge account (and a friend with one).
- •Following your friend, or being in a group with them, puts them in your suggestions.

Tap the side you want
Open the game and tap the price for the side you want to bet: a spread, moneyline, total or any prop. That opens the order ticket.

Switch the order type to Head-to-head
Tap the order-type icon at the top of the ticket and choose Head-to-head: offer it to one player instead of the book.

Pick who to challenge
Search people for your friend's name, or pick from the All or Following lists. Your price goes to them instead of onto the book.

Set your price and amount, then send it
Set the price you're offering and how much you want to bet. The ticket shows what you'd win. Check the expiration (game start by default), then click Send challenge to [your friend]. The stake is set aside from your balance until they answer.

Track it in Challenges, then Portfolio
A pending challenge waits under Challenges in the menu, showing what you put up, what you'd win, your price and when it expires. You can withdraw it until your friend accepts, and they can accept or decline it there before it expires. Once they accept, it moves to Portfolio under Head-to-head, marked Accepted, and settles with the game.

See your head-to-head record
Open your friend's profile and click Head to head. You'll see your record against them, your net result, both of your overall trading stats, and every game you've had against each other, won or lost.
Tips
- •Follow a few people or join a group first. They'll show up as suggestions when you pick who to challenge.
- •Set the expiration so your friend has time to see it, for example game start.
- •Text your friend that it's waiting. They'll find it under Challenges.
Questions
Can anyone else take my head-to-head?+
No. Only the player you sent it to can take it, and only before it expires.
Who can see it?+
Head-to-heads are private between the two players in them.
What if my friend doesn't take it?+
It expires at the time you chose, and the money you set aside goes back to your wallet.
Expected outcome
Your friend gets a challenge at the price you set. If they take it before it expires, the bet is on between the two of you.
