How to Bet Futures on BettorEdge

Bet season-long futures like the Super Bowl winner or a conference champion, take a Yes or No price set by other bettors, and sell back before it settles if you want out.

Before you start

  • •Browse futures without an account; sign in to place a bet.
  • •Every team in a futures market has a Yes price (they win it) and a No price (they don't). Prices show in cents, American odds or percent, whichever you choose in Account > Trading preferences.
  • •A future stays open until the event is decided, which can be months away.

Prerequisites

  1. 1

Find Futures on the Markets page

On Markets, scroll to Futures. Each card is one market, like 2027 Super Bowl Winner, with the top teams' Yes and No prices. Click View market to see the whole field.

  2. 2

    Read the field

The market page lists every competitor with its chance, price movement, a Yes price, a No price and a link to its order book. Search the field to jump to your team.

  3. 3

Tap Yes or No and set your amount

Tap a team's Yes price to bet on them winning it, or No to bet against. The order ticket shows the market price and how much is available. Enter an amount and confirm. Futures orders default to expiring when the event starts.

Tap Yes or No and set your amount

Tips

  • •Chance is the price: 21% means the market prices that team at 21¢ to win it.
  • •SET instead of a price means nobody is offering that side yet. You can name your own price with a limit order.
  • •You don't have to hold to the end. You can sell a position back to the market before it settles.

Questions

Can I cash out a future early?+

You can sell your position back to the market before the event ends, at whatever price another bettor will pay. That can lock in a gain or cut a loss.

Why do the prices in a field add up to more than 100%?+

Each price is set separately by bettors, so a whole field usually adds up past 100. The market page explains this under How open is it.

What's the difference between Yes and No?+

Yes wins if that team wins the market. No wins if anyone else does.

Expected outcome

You'll open a futures market, compare teams by price, and open the order ticket on the Yes or No side you want.
