How to Bet Player Props on BettorEdge

Find player props on any game, pick a stat and a player, and take the over or the under at a price set by other bettors, not a sportsbook.

Before you start

  • •You can browse every prop without an account. To place a bet you need to be signed in.
  • •Logged out, prices show in cents: a 58¢ over means the market puts it at about a 58% chance. Signed in, you can show prices as cents, American odds or percent in Account > Trading preferences.
  • •Every price is another bettor on the other side. There's no house setting the line.

Prerequisites

  • •A BettorEdge account to place the bet (browsing is open to everyone).
  • •Works the same on play.bettoredge.com and in the app.
  1. 1

Open Markets and pick a sport

Go to Markets and choose a sport from the list, or stay on Popular to see where the action is across every league.

  2. 2

    Open the game

Click a game to open its page. You'll see the game lines (spread, moneyline and total), line movement, and below them, Player props.

  3. 3

Pick a stat, then find your player

Choose a stat on the left, like Receiving Yards, Receptions, Rushing Yards or Anytime Touchdown Scorer. Filter by team or search a name. Each row shows the line with an over price and an under price.

  4. 4

Tap the over or under price

Tapping a price opens the order ticket with the market price and how much is available. Enter your amount, or tap a 1x, 2x or 3x unit size, check the expiration, then confirm the order.

Tap the over or under price

Tips

  • •Use the team filter (All or either team) and the player search to get to your player fast.
  • •The chart icon on each row opens that prop's order book, so you can see how much is waiting at each price.
  • •Don't like the price? Switch the ticket to a limit order and name your own. It waits for someone to take the other side.

Questions

What do the cents prices mean?+

The price is what the market thinks the chance is. A 58¢ over is roughly a 58% chance, so a lower price means a bigger payout if it hits. The ticket shows what you'd win before you confirm.

Who sets the prop line and price?+

Other bettors. BettorEdge is a marketplace, so every price on the board is someone willing to take the other side.

Can I set my own price on a prop?+

Yes. Switch the ticket's order type to a limit order and enter your price. It waits on the order book until someone takes it or it expires.

Expected outcome

You'll find a player's prop for a game, read the over and under prices, and open the order ticket to bet it.
