  • First season in new conference (Previously in Mountain West)
  • Maddux Madsen returns at QB after a junior season of 2,334 yards, 18 TDs, and 9 INTs
  • The RB duo of Dylan Riley (1,125 yards, 10 TDs) and Sire Gaines (811 yards, 8 TDs) return
  • Top four players in terms of receiving yards from last season are gone, with the top returner being Ben Ford (325 yards, 5 TDs)
  • Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 26 sacks in 2025 (T-81st in CFB)
  • 2025 PPG/YPG: 28.2 ppg (47th out of 136), 407.6 ypg (33rd in CFB)
  • Returning six starters on a defense that allowed 24.8 ppg (57th in CFB), with the top returner being LB Boen Phelps (66 tackles). Two transfers are expected to start in Kennesaw State transfer CB JeRico Washington Jr. (51 tackles) and South Dakota transfer CB Roman Tillmon (94 tackles)
