Delaware went 7-6 (4-4 in the Conference USA). Here is what changed on the roster, the full 2026 schedule, and where they rank going into the season.
What changed for Delaware in 2026
- Nick Minnicucci returns at QB after a junior season of 3,683 yards (6th in FBS), 23 TDs, and 7 INTs, as well as 235 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs
- Jo Silver returns at RB after a 2025 season of 652 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs
- Top player in terms of receiving yards from last season returns in Sean WIlson (877 yards, 3 TDs). Two transfers are expected to start in Coastal Carolina transfer Bryson Graves (330 yards, 2 TDs) and Oklahoma State transfer Da’Wain Lofton (10 yards in one game played in 2025)
- Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 27 sacks (T-87th in CFB)
- 2025 PPG/YPG: 28.5 ppg (45th out of 136), 411.2 ypg (30th out of 136)
- Returning five starters on defense, including their top two defensive players in LB Gavin Moul (112 tackles) and S KT Seay (91 tackles, 3 INTs).
- No transfers are expected to start
