- Top player in terms of receiving yards from last season is gone, with the top returner being Kyle McNeal (310 yards, 1 TD. Rhode Island transfer Greg Gaines III (1,018 yards, 4 TDs) is expected to start
- Returning one starting offensive lineman
- Returning three starters on defense, with the top returner being LB Josiah Taylor (72 tackles). Three transfers are expected to start, including South Alabama transfer S Wesley Miller (57 tackles)
