What changed for Georgia State in 2026
- Starting QB from last season is gone, so backup QB Cameran Brown is expected to start (1,296 yards, 13 TDs, 1 INT; 284 rushing yards, 4 rushing TDs)
- Starting RB from last season is gone. Georgetown transfer Savion Hart is expected to start (816 yards, 10 TDs)
- Top two players in terms of receiving yards from last season are gone, with the top returner being TE Grant Hollier (288 yards, 4 TDs)
- Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 18 sacks in 2025 (T-20th in CFB)
- Returning two starters on defense, with their top returner being DE Jabriel Rhodes-Nelson (41 tackles). Six transfers are expected to start, including Wingate transfer DT Mandjou Berte (49 tackles, 5 sacks) and North Carolina A&T transfer S Tre Mittman (75 tackles)
