- Conner Harrell returns at QB after a 2025 season of 737 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INTs in four games (Missed last 8 games of the season due to injury)
- Top two RBs from last season is gone, so returner Jariel Cobb is expected to start (190 yards, 0 TDs)
- Top four players in terms of receiving yards are gone, with the top returner being TE Gus McGee (127 yards, 1 TD). Appalachian State transfer WR Jaden Barnes is expected to start (608 yards, 7 TDs)
- Returning one starting offensive lineman
- Returning four starters on defense, with their top returner being LB Kadin Schmitz (65 tackles)
