- New head coach in Neal Brown (Texas Assistant to the Head Coach/Former West Virginia Head Coach)
- New offensive coordinator in Chad Scott (Texas RB Coach; Former West Virginia Offensive Coordinator - 2024) and defensive coordinator in Matt Powledge (Baylor Defensive Coordinator)
- No starters on offense or defense return.
- UCF transfer Tayven Jackson are expected to start at QB(2,151 yards, 10 TDs, 8 INTs)
- West Virginia transfer Jaheim White is expected to start at RB (133 yards, 3 TDs)
- Expected starters at WR include returner Baron Tipton (RS in 2025), UAB transfer Corri Milliner (341 yards, 3 TDs), and Western Carolina transfer James Tyre (832 yards, 11 TDs)
