- Expected starters at WR are Illinois transfer Justin Bowick (265 yards, 5 TDs), North Texas transfer Wyatt Young (1,264 yards - 3rd in FBS, 10 TDs), and Wake Forest transfer Chris Barnes (547 yards, 3 TDs)
- Returning two starters on defense, with the top returner being CB LaDainian Fields (16 tackles, 2 INTs). Nine transfers are expected to start, including North Texas transfer LB Ethan Wesloski (113 tackles), UCLA transfer LB Isaiah Chisom (84 tackles), and North Texas S Quinton Hammonds (53 tackles, 2 INTs)
