  • New head coach in Eric Morris (North Texas Head Coach)
  • New offensive coordinator in Sean Brophy (North Texas Pass Game Coordinator and QB Coach) and defensive coordinator in Skyler Cassity (North Texas Defensive Coordinator)
  • No offensive starters return, and all of the projected starters are transfers
  • North Texas transfer Drew Mestemaker is expected to start at QB (4,379 yards - Led FBS, 34 TDs - T-2nd in FBS, 9 INTs)
  • North Texas transfer Caleb Hawkins is expected to start at RB (1,434 yards - 5th in FBS, 25 TDs - Led FBS)
  • Expected starters at WR are Illinois transfer Justin Bowick (265 yards, 5 TDs), North Texas transfer Wyatt Young (1,264 yards - 3rd in FBS, 10 TDs), and Wake Forest transfer Chris Barnes (547 yards, 3 TDs)
  • Returning two starters on defense, with the top returner being CB LaDainian Fields (16 tackles, 2 INTs). Nine transfers are expected to start, including North Texas transfer LB Ethan Wesloski (113 tackles), UCLA transfer LB Isaiah Chisom (84 tackles), and North Texas S Quinton Hammonds (53 tackles, 2 INTs)
