  • New offensive coordinator in Gordon Sammis (UConn Interim Head Coach & Former offensive coordinator - 2024)
  • Starting QB from last season is gone. Harvard transfer Jaden Craig (2,869 yards, 25 TDs, 7 INTs)
  • Jeremy Payne returns at RB after a sophomore season of 623 yards and 5 TDs
  • Top player in terms of receiving yards is gone, with the top returner being Jordan Dwyer (730 yards, 7 TDs)
  • Returning two starting offensive lineman
  • Returning five starters on defense, with their top returner being S Jamel Johnson (96 tackles, 5 INTs - T-7th in FBS). Three transfers are expected to start including Louisiana Tech S Jacob Fields (91 tackles, 3 INTs)
