  • New defensive coordinator in Ted Roof (UCF Defensive Coordinator)
  • Starting QB from last season is gone. There is a battle for the starting role between DII Saginaw Valley State transfer Mason McKenzie (2,086 yards, 17 TDs, 11 INTS; 942 rushing yards, 10 rushing TDs) and Arkansas transfer Grayson Wilson (DNP in 2025; 4-star Recruit in Class of 2025)
  • Starting RB from last season is gone. Liberty transfer Evan Dickens is expected to start (1,339 yards, 16 TDs)
  • Top three players in terms of receiving yards from last season are gone, with the top returner being TE Kaelan ChudzinskI (313 yards, 4 TDs). North Carolina transfer Javarius Green is expected to start at WR (150 yards, 0 TDs)
  • Returning one starting offensive lineman with two transfers expected to start
  • Returning four starters on defense, with their top returner being safety KP Price (93 tackles, 2 INTs - Led team in both). Five transfers are expected to start.
