  • Starting QB from last season is gone. Indiana transfer Alberto Mendoza is expected to start (286 yards, 5 TDs, 1 INT; 13 rushing attempts, 190 rushing yards, 1 TD)
  • Starting RB from last season is gone. Michigan transfer Justice Haynes is expected to start (857 yards, 10 TDs)
  • Top three WRs from last season are gone with the top returner being Jordan Allen (304 yards, 0 TDs). Elon transfer Isaiah Furmann is expected to start (907 yards, 9 TDs)
  • Returning two starting offensive lineman with one transfer expected to start.
  • Returning five starters on a defense that allowed 26.1 ppg (67th in CFB ), including their two leading tacklers in LBs Kyle Efford (77 tackles) and E.J.
  • Lightsley (76 tackles)
