  • New offensive coordinator in Bobby Petrino (Arkansas Interim Head Coach)
  • Starting QB from last season is gone. Wisconsin transfer Billy Edwards Jr. is expected to start (113 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs - Only played two games due to injury; 2,881 yards, 15 TDs, 9 INTs in 2024 with Maryland)
  • Demon June returns at RB after a freshman season of 464 yards and 2 TDs
  • Top player in terms of receiving yards returns in Jordan Shipp (671 yards, 6 TDs).
  • No starting offensive lineman return, and two transfers are expected to start
  • Returning three starters on defense with their top returner being DE Melkert Abou Jaoude (47 tackles, 10.5 sacks - 9th in CFB). Four transfers are expected to start including a pair of Richmond transfers in DE Donovan Hoilette (43 tackles, 6.5 sacks) and LB Peyton Seelmann (120 tackles - T-7th in FCS, 2 INTs)
