What changed for Florida in 2026
- New head coach in Jon Sumrall (Tulane Head Coach)
- New offensive coordinator in Buster Faulkner (Georgia Tech Offensive Coordinator and TE Coach) and defensive coordinator in Brad White (Kentucky Defensive Coordinator)
- Starting QB from last season is gone. There is a QB battle between Georgia Tech transfer Aaron Philo (373 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) and returning freshman Tramel Jones (191 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs)
- Jadan Baugh returns at RB after a sophomore season of 1,170 yards and 8 TDs
- Top player in terms of receiving yards from last season returns in Vernell Brown III (512 yards, 0 TDs). Auburn transfer Eric Singleton Jr is expected to start (534 yards, 3 TDs)
- Returning two starting offensive lineman with three transfers expected to start
- Returning five starters on defense, including their leading tackler in LB Myles Graham (76 tackles). Two transfers are expected to start
