- Gunner Stockton returns at QB after a 2025 season of 2,894 yards, 24 TDs, 5 INTs, as well as 462 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs
- Nate Frazier returns at RB after a sophomore season of 947 yards and 6 TDs
- Top two players in terms of receiving yards from last season are gone, with the top returner being London Humphreys (276 yards, 3 TDs). Georgia Tech transfer Isiah Canion is expected to start (480 yards, 4 TDs)
- Returning three starting offensive lineman that allowed 20 sacks in 2025 (39th in CFB)
- 2025 PPG/YPG: 32.4 ppg (19th out of 136), 401.4 ypg (42nd out of 136)
- Returning eight starters on a defense that allowed 18.5 ppg (12th in CFB), with their top returner being S KJ Bolden (76 tackles, 2 INTs). Two transfers are expected to start, including East Carolina transfer Ja’Marley Riddle (70 tackles, 3 INTs)
